- 1Screen a covered patio, lanai, or porch
- 2Restore sagging or storm-torn existing screening
- 3Kick plates and pet screen for high-traffic areas
If you already have a covered patio or lanai, screening it in is usually the fastest, lowest-cost way to add living space you'll actually use. We frame and screen the open sides, hang doors, and match the finish to what's already there.
We also restore existing lanais that have gone slack, yellowed, or torn. Older screening loses tension and tears at the corners first — often the whole thing looks tired when only a few panels need pulling tight. We'll tell you which it is before you pay for a full re-screen you don't need.
For homes with dogs or heavy foot traffic, we add kick plates along the bottom and pet-resistant screen so you're not re-screening the same low panel every year.

Questions we hear a lot
- What's the difference between a patio and a lanai?
- In Florida, a lanai is usually a covered — often screened — porch attached to the house, while a patio is the open slab. We screen both.
- Can you screen in my existing covered patio?
- Yes. If there's already a roof or cover, screening the open sides is usually the fastest, lowest-cost way to add usable living space.
- Why is my lanai screen sagging or torn?
- Florida sun breaks screen down over years — it loses tension and tears at the corners first. Often only a few panels need pulling tight, not the whole thing.
- Can you add pet-resistant screen or kick plates?
- Yes. We add kick plates and pet-resistant screen on the lower panels where dogs and foot traffic take the most toll.
- How long does it take to screen a patio?
- Most covered patios can be screened in a day or two, depending on size and how many doors are involved.
